“When Larry was alive I loved to hang out and just f—k off. Not much has changed,” Bob Seeger humorously reflects on his relationship with the late Indian Larry. Their bond went beyond friendship, evolving into a partnership born from Larry’s persistence. As Bob recounts, Larry would regularly call, jokingly pushing him to join forces. Eventually, Bob and his wife decided to take the leap, securing a loan to become partners.
The journey hasn’t been without its trials. From Larry’s tragic final stunt to navigating the natural evolution of a custom shop, Bob has faced numerous challenges. The shop also experienced personal loss with the heartbreaking passing of Bob’s son, Aiden. Through it all, the commitment to Indian Larry’s vision remained steadfast. With Shane McMahon’s support during difficult times, Bob has steered Indian Larry Motorcycles into a new chapter. “Four years later, here we are,” Bob states, emphasizing a sense of peace and focus. “I sleep well, when I sleep. I don’t look over my shoulder. I don’t mess with other people’s business. I don’t f—k with bike clubs. That’s how it is for me.”

While production numbers are kept intentionally limited to maintain quality and exclusivity, the shop is dedicated to crafting “amazing one of a kind Indian Larry motorcycles.” Bob mentions the need to hire another team member to expand capacity, highlighting the continued demand for these unique machines.

Looking towards events like the Hot Bike Tour, Bob’s enthusiasm is evident. He discusses the build planned for the tour: “We’re gonna do a Genuine Motor Works XR1000 to rip through the amazing roads the tour has included this year.” This choice not only promises a thrilling ride but also supports his wife’s business, adding a personal touch to the endeavor. Bob also expresses excitement about connecting with fellow builders on the tour, seeing it as a refreshing change from typical industry gatherings. “You won’t see me at a bunch of industry parties, but I do like to hang out. It should be a different experience than what I’m used to. That could be cool.”
