Returning Retail Purchases
For purchases made directly at one of our retail locations, returns are also simple. If you have your original sales receipt, you can return the unused and unopened item for a full refund or exchange. Gift receipts are also accepted, and returns with a gift receipt will receive store credit for the item’s purchase price at the time of the original purchase.
Even if you don’t have your receipt, we can still process a return. In such cases, the refund will be in the form of store merchandise credit, and the refund amount will be based on the lowest price the item was sold for within the last 90 days. Special Policy for Good Sam Members
We value our Good Sam Members and offer them an extended return privilege. - Outboard motors, trolling motors, EPIRBs, boats, SPOT devices, life rafts, PLBs, Class B AIS, items with expiration dates, custom-made/cut or special-order items, rigging, generators, electronic charts, mattresses, flares, hazardous items, licenses, and gift cards. For these items, if they are proven to be defective, returns or exchanges must be handled directly with the manufacturer.
Certain items have a limited return window of 30 days if they are unopened and unused. These include:
- Electronics, skateboards, bikes, software, bedding, canoes, tents, drones, and kayaks. After 30 days, any returns or exchanges for defective products must be handled directly with the manufacturer.

- Clearance and Outlet items are sold “as is” and are not eligible for return at any time.
- Once an item has been installed, it cannot be returned or exchanged. If an installed product becomes defective, please contact the manufacturer directly for warranty service.
- For returns involving promotional discounts: If you return items that were part of a promotional discount, the discount will be prorated. The value of any discount, free product, or gift card received as part of the promotion will be deducted from the refund for the returned items.
