Swedish micromobility subscription service Movs has recently unveiled two groundbreaking e-bike models, the Nörd and Ergo, designed to redefine urban commuting. After two years of dedicated development, Movs is introducing these electric bikes to their shared fleet, promising a seamless and stylish riding experience.
The Nörd model stands out as a high-tech, single-speed e-bike, featuring a belt-drive and advanced sensors. This Movs Bike is engineered for a minimalistic and intuitive ride, catering to users who appreciate simplicity and cutting-edge technology in their urban transport.

For everyday commuters needing more versatility, Movs offers the Ergo. This seven-speed e-bike is designed to handle daily commutes while comfortably carrying bags and packages. The Ergo Movs bike combines practicality with sleek design, making it an ideal choice for urban dwellers.
Both the Nörd and Ergo Movs bike models share a unique frame design, crafted from a single piece of lightweight aluminum to create a joint-free, elegant silhouette. According to Chief Designer and Founder Jonas Rundqvist, Movs’ design philosophy centers on “function combined with accessibility, minimalistic aesthetics, and the importance of identity.” This vision is evident in the continuous frame shape without welding joints, internally hidden cables, integrated lights, and baskets mounted directly to the frame.
Powering these innovative Movs bikes is a portable battery that offers an impressive range of 100 km on a full charge. This feature ensures reliability and convenience for daily use within the city.
Movs, established in May 2021, operates on a Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) model. Customers can subscribe monthly to access a range of light electric vehicles, including bikes, e-bikes, e-mopeds, and e-scooters. The company aims to facilitate the widespread adoption of light electric vehicles by offering a simple, all-inclusive membership paired with stylish urban e-bikes.
Currently operating in four Swedish cities, Movs is poised for expansion into other European countries, backed by a $3.6 million funding round. Movs is a subsidiary of Movs Technology Group (MTG), a leading Swedish retailer of e-mopeds and bicycles since 2005, which also owns the Lifebike electric bicycle and DRAX moped brands. With the launch of Nörd and Ergo, Movs is set to further solidify its position in the European micromobility market, offering advanced and aesthetically pleasing Movs bike options for the modern urban rider.
