Porsche eBike Performance GmbH: Developing Advanced Drive Systems

Porsche eBike Performance GmbH is set to revolutionize the e-bike drive system landscape. Beyond the compact drive systems acquired from Fazua, they will engineer and manufacture particularly powerful eBike drive systems under the esteemed Porsche brand name.

These product lines, encompassing both Fazua’s expertise and Porsche’s new developments, will be available to eBike manufacturers worldwide. This positions the newly formed joint venture as a crucial technology partner in the electric bicycle industry. The electric drive systems from Porsche will power not only Porsche eBikes but also products from other leading brands, expanding the reach and impact of porsche e bike technology.

Strategic Acquisitions: Strengthening Porsche’s eBike Ecosystem

Porsche’s foray into the eBike sector is further solidified by strategic acquisitions in recent months. These include the Croatian eBike brand Greyp, and notably, Fazua. In a significant move in June, Porsche increased its stake in Fazua to 100 percent, acquiring complete ownership of the Munich-based company.

Fazua is highly regarded within the industry as pioneers of ‘light’ eBikes. This acquisition is pivotal as Fazua will be integrated into Porsche eBike Performance GmbH, bringing its innovative technology and market presence under the Porsche umbrella, enhancing the development and reach of the porsche e bike.
