All our bike rentals come standard with flat pedals, perfect for casual riding and comfortable shoes. For cyclists who prefer clipless pedals, we offer rental clip-less pedals including Shimano SPD, SPD-SL, and Look Keo, available to rent when you book your bike. Feel free to bring your own pedals and/or saddle as well; we’re happy to install them for a small fee to make your rental feel just like home. Please note that shoes and cleats are not provided.
Booking Your Bike Rental in Portland
We strongly encourage making reservations to guarantee your bike, especially during peak seasons. You can easily book online up until 6 PM the day before your desired rental. For last-minute rentals or reservations after 6 PM the day prior, please call us during our business hours, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Rental Periods and Pickup Policies Explained
For rentals other than 24-hour options, the date you book is considered the first day of your rental period. For example, a 3-day rental picked up any time on Tuesday will be due back by 6 PM on Thursday. If you opt for a 24-hour rental, your bike will be due back exactly 24 hours after your selected pick-up time. Bikes not picked up by 6 PM on the first rental day will be considered a “no show” and will be made available to other customers.
Important Rental Policies to Note
For overnight rentals, it’s essential to store your bike inside a secure domicile such as your hotel room, a concierge closet, or your living room. Storing bikes in shared bike rooms is not permitted for security reasons. Please also be aware that all reservations are subject to our 24-hour cancellation policy. Once a booking is made and within 24 hours of rental, it is final and charged in full unless changes are made outside of this 24-hour window. We do not offer prorated refunds for early returns, nor do we provide partial refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental period. For cancellations regarding specially scheduled private departures, custom tours, or groups of 8 or more, we require notification at least 14 days prior to your departure date for a full refund. Bookings for these special services cancelled within 14 days are non-refundable and cannot be altered or exchanged.
