Ocean City BikeFest has released important information regarding trailer parking permits and designated parking areas for the event, taking place September 11th – 15th, 2024. This guide will provide you with all the essential details to ensure you’re parked legally and conveniently during Bike Week.

Trailer Parking Permits: Your Key to Designated Street Parking

For attendees bringing trailers, Ocean City is offering Trailer Parking Permits for $50 each. These permits allow you to park your trailer or oversized vehicle on designated streets and parking lots (excluding Baltimore Avenue) from Wednesday, September 11th through Sunday, September 15th, 2024. This is a convenient option for those looking to park closer to the event festivities.

  • Cost: $50 per permit
  • Validity: Wednesday, September 11th – Sunday, September 15th, 2024
  • Location: Designated streets and parking lots in Ocean City (excluding Baltimore Avenue)
  • Purchase Location: The Trailer Parking Permit will ONLY be issued at the designated parking lot located at 32nd Street and bayside.
  • Payment: Cash or check payable to THE TOWN OF OCEAN CITY.

Exclusive Early Arrival Parking at 32nd Street Bayside Lot

To accommodate early arrivals, OC BikeFest has secured a dedicated parking lot at 32nd Street and bayside. This lot will be open from Sunday, September 8th through Sunday, September 15th, offering parking for the entire week or a portion of it.

32nd Street Bayside Parking Lot Details:

  • Location: 32nd Street and bayside (see map below)
  • Availability: Sunday, September 8th – Sunday, September 15th, 2024
  • Operating Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM daily
  • Entrance: Enter the lot on 32nd Street and bayside.
  • Vehicle Pick-up Deadline: All trailers and vehicles must be picked up by NOON on Monday, September 18th.

32nd Street Bayside Parking Fees:

  • Full Week Parking (Sunday, Sept 8th arrival): $100 per vehicle (cash or check payable to OC JAMS)
  • Partial Week Parking (Wednesday, Sept 11th arrival): $50 per vehicle (cash or check payable to OC JAMS)
  • City Trailer Parking Permit (Wed, Sept 11th – Sun, Sept 15th): $50 (cash or check payable to THE TOWN OF OCEAN CITY) – Issued ONLY at this location.

Additional Trailer Parking Options During Bike Week

For the duration of Ocean City Bike Week, from Tuesday, September 11th through Sunday, September 15th, 2024, there are additional trailer parking options available on a first-come, first-served basis:

  • West Ocean City Park and Ride: Trailers are permitted to park here.
  • 100th Street Parking Lot (Trailer Section): Designated trailer parking section is available. Regular parking fees for the 100th Street lot apply in the designated area. Trailers are NOT allowed in the regular, non-trailer sections of the 100th Street lot.

Important Parking Regulations to Note

To avoid violations and ensure compliance with Ocean City parking rules, please be aware of the following:

  • Baltimore Avenue Restriction: Parking trailers or oversized vehicles on Baltimore Avenue is strictly prohibited.
  • Trailer Permit Requirement: Parking a trailer or oversized vehicle without a trailer permit on any municipal parking lot, public street, alley, or public way within Ocean City Corporate Limits is a violation from May 1st through October 31st annually.

Private Property Parking

Remember that trailer parking is also permitted on private property. If you are staying at a hotel, house, or condo, it’s recommended to check with them directly to inquire about trailer parking availability on their premises.
