Kawasaki H2 Bike Price Increased for 2019: Check the New Prices

Kawasaki has announced a price revision for its hypersport Ninja H2 range in India for 2019, impacting the Ninja H2, H2 Carbon, and the top-of-the-line H2R models. The base model Kawasaki Ninja H2 now starts at Rs 34.99 lakh, marking an increase of Rs 1.69 lakh from its previous price of Rs 33.3 lakh (ex-showroom prices).

The Kawasaki H2 Carbon sees its price climb to Rs 41.79 lakh, while the exclusive Kawasaki H2R now carries a price tag of Rs 75.8 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). Despite the price hike, these supercharged motorcycles receive notable performance and feature upgrades for the new model year.

For 2019, Kawasaki has boosted the power output of the H2 and H2 Carbon. These models now produce 231PS, up from 205PS, without ram air. When utilizing ram air, the power jumps from 215PS to a staggering 243PS. Peak torque has also been enhanced, increasing from 133.5Nm to 141.7Nm, promising even more exhilarating acceleration.

Beyond performance enhancements, the 2019 Kawasaki H2 range incorporates several new features. A smartphone-compatible TFT screen, borrowed from the H2SX, is now standard. The bikes also receive a full LED lighting system and a special self-healing paint. This innovative paint technology uses a combination of soft and hard compounds to absorb minor impacts and scratches, maintaining the bike’s pristine finish. Braking performance is also improved with new Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers paired with dual 330mm front discs. The rear brake utilizes a 250mm disc. The suspension setup consists of 43mm fully adjustable inverted front forks and a fully adjustable Ohlins TTX36 UniTrak rear suspension.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2 range is imported into India as Completely Built Units (CBU) from Japan. Enthusiasts looking to purchase these models needed to place bookings within a limited window, from September 1 to October 31, 2018. Deliveries for the 2019 models were scheduled to begin in January 2019. The price increase reflects the upgraded features and performance enhancements Kawasaki has introduced to its flagship hypersport motorcycles.
