What’s Included:
(1) Bike Tow Leash® with standard clamp: Customize your setup with Right or Left-side adjustment options. This feature allows the clip to face forward, creating a comfortable side-by-side biking experience with your dog.
(1) Detailed Instructions: Comprehensive guidance is provided, covering leash adjustments for various dog sizes and bike types. The leash is adjustable for use on either side of your bike, catering to your dog’s size and your preferred biking style.
This is the standard Bike Tow Leash® with the standard clamp. Special attachments are available for separate purchase.

Buying Help: Choosing Left or Right Side Configuration
When deciding on the optimal side for your Bike Tow Leash, consider your standard driving side of the road. For safety on trails, positioning your dog on the shoulder or grass side is recommended. This strategic positioning uses your bike as a protective barrier against oncoming distractions, such as pedestrians with dogs or passing cyclists, allowing for uninterrupted and safer rides.
The Left-Hand Side Adjustment: This is the standard configuration, designed to mount on the left side of your bicycle with the clip oriented forward. This setup promotes a side-by-side, adventurous biking experience with your dog! Most metal frame bikes, including tadpole trikes, are compatible with the Bike Tow Leash on the left side. Consult our Fit Chart to ensure you have everything needed for left-hand dog-biking!
The Right-Hand Side Adjustment: Achieved by simply rotating the outer clamp inside the black coupling, this adjustment ensures the clip end of the Bike Tow Leash points forward when mounted on the right side of your bike.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Bikes equipped with multiple rear sprockets, gears, and a rear derailleur may require either a Quick Mount or Chain Stay Clamp to ensure clearance from the chain mechanism.
Refer to the Fit Chart link and navigate to your bike model for specific compatibility details. The Bike Tow Leash is adjustable for use on either side and for different dog sizes, utilizing the alcohol adjustment method detailed in instruction #3 of the Bike Tow Leash manual. If you are uncertain about your preferred side, this adjustment can also be easily made post-purchase following instruction #3.
