Affordable Refurbished Bikes
Looking for a reliable and budget-friendly bike? Our bike collective receives bike donations from the community, which are then expertly refurbished by our skilled staff and volunteers. These bikes are thoroughly inspected and serviced, ensuring they are road-ready and safe for their new owners. Purchasing a refurbished bike from us is not only an economical choice but also supports our mission to keep cycling accessible within the community.
Bikes for Those in Need
We believe everyone deserves the freedom and joy of cycling. Through partnerships with organizations like Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity and initiatives like Bike Rodeos with the Des Moines Police Department and Parks and Recreation Department, our bike collective actively donates bikes to individuals and families in need. In 2023 alone, we gifted over 500 bikes, making a tangible difference in our community.
Do-It-Together Workshop: Learn & Repair
Empower yourself with bike maintenance skills in our open workshop! Bring your own bike and utilize our tools and expertise to perform your repairs. Our knowledgeable volunteers are always on hand to provide guidance and instruction, making bike repair accessible to everyone.
