Navigating Pittsburgh by bicycle can initially feel overwhelming, especially for newcomers or those unfamiliar with the city’s unique layout. Pittsburgh’s charm lies in its unconventional street grid, its defining rivers, and rolling hills – features that, while beautiful, can present challenges for cyclists seeking efficient routes. These geographical elements, however, also shape the connections between our vibrant neighborhoods, making biking an incredibly rewarding way to experience the city.
The Pittsburgh Bike Map is thoughtfully designed to empower both the daily bike commuter and the weekend urban explorer. Our goal is to provide you with safer, more enjoyable routes between neighborhoods and encourage you to discover new corners of Pittsburgh you might otherwise miss.
