This isn’t about negativity; it’s about advocating for better electric bikes. “Good enough” simply isn’t good enough anymore, especially not at today’s prices. The current “good enough” e-bikes, with their outdated tech, should be priced accordingly and relegated to entry-level markets. We, as consumers, deserve better. Superior alternatives are achievable without exorbitant costs. Many small, independent bike shops are already demonstrating this daily. With 50 years of cycling experience, even a small shop can deliver better value and design. Manufacturers have the resources to do far better. It’s time to demand more from electric bike reviews 2024 and the industry as a whole, pushing for innovation and value that truly benefits the rider.
