DT Swiss also offers high-quality wheel options.
Don’t overlook the second-hand market either. There’s a huge market for used track frames and components. By combining used and new parts, you can build a top-notch fixed gear bike for a budget of around $1,000 to $2,000 USD. It’s an investment that truly pays off. Remember, a fixed bike is something you’ll likely be riding frequently, regardless of the weather, so durability and reliability are key.
If you prefer to buy a complete fixed gear bike, there are still some good options available. Brands like 8bar, Surly, and Cinelli offer complete builds that are a step above entry-level and provide a solid foundation for fixed gear riding. While building your own offers more customization, these brands provide reliable and well-regarded complete bikes.
