Understanding the MotoTec Return Policy for Dirt Bikes

MotoTec USA, the manufacturer of MotoTec dirt bikes, has specific guidelines for product returns. It is important to note that MotoTec USA does not accept unauthorized returns. If you need to initiate a return for your MotoTec dirt bike, the first step is to contact Electric Ride Co. at [email protected]. We will guide you through the process and, if your return meets the conditions set forth by MotoTec, we will issue a Return Authorization number (RA#). This RA# must be clearly marked on your return packaging.

Unless the return is due to an error on our part, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Additionally, the original shipping charges are non-refundable, and a 10% restocking fee will be applied to all returns. To ensure your return is accepted, it is crucial to include your invoice number or date of sale with the returned item.

To be eligible for a full refund or credit, the MotoTec dirt bike must be returned in 100% new condition. This means the dirt bike must not have been assembled or used. Once the box has been opened and assembly has begun, the dirt bike is no longer eligible for return. Returned items must be in transit back to MotoTec USA within 10 days of receiving your RA# and will undergo a thorough inspection upon arrival before any refund or credit is issued.

If your dirt bike arrives with shipping damage or missing/defective parts, MotoTec USA will ship free replacement parts to rectify the issue. This free shipping for warranty parts is applicable within the 48 contiguous states. Customers are responsible for replacing these parts themselves.

Important Note: Replacements for purely cosmetic surface damage, such as minor scratches, may not always be possible.

In cases of major damage that cannot be resolved with replacement parts under warranty, MotoTec USA may authorize a full refund upon return of the damaged dirt bike. It is imperative to report any damage to us within 10 days of receiving your MotoTec dirt bike. Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in the shipping companies denying the damage claim, and the customer becoming responsible for shipping charges. For MotoTec dirt bikes shipped via LTL Freight, any damage must be clearly noted with the delivery driver on the delivery receipt at the time of signature. For concealed damage discovered later, you must notify us within 5 days of receipt to ensure the claim is honored.

Packaging Requirement: Retaining the original packaging is crucial for any return. Please keep the original box and packaging materials, as returns may be refused if the original packaging is not used for the return shipment.
