Official Trailer Parking Permit for OC Bike Week
For OC Bike Week 2024, Ocean City has authorized the sale of Trailer Parking Permits for $50 each. This permit allows trailers and oversized vehicles to park on appropriately marked streets and parking lots throughout Ocean City, excluding Baltimore Avenue, from Wednesday, September 11th to Sunday, September 15th. This is the official parking solution for those attending OC Bike Week with trailers.
Dedicated Parking Lot on 32nd Street for Early Arrivals
To better serve early arrivals for OC Bike Week, a dedicated parking lot located on 32nd Street and bayside will be available starting Sunday, September 8th, and running through Sunday, September 15th. This lot provides an extended parking option for attendees wanting to arrive before Wednesday. The fees for this lot are structured as follows:
- $100 per vehicle for the entire week: For those arriving as early as Sunday, September 8th. Payment can be made via cash or check payable to OC JAMS.
- $50 per vehicle for Wednesday to Sunday parking: For vehicles arriving from Wednesday, September 11th through Sunday, September 15th. Cash or check payable to OC JAMS is accepted.
- $50 City Trailer Parking Permit: This permit, essential for parking on designated city streets, can also be purchased at this location. Payment for this permit is cash or check payable to THE TOWN OF OCEAN CITY.
Important Notes for the 32nd Street Parking Lot:
- Exclusive Permit Issuance: The 32nd Street lot is the only location where the City Trailer Parking Permit will be issued.
- Operating Hours: The lot will be open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Entrance: Access the lot from 32nd Street and bayside.
- Vehicle Pickup Deadline: All trailers and vehicles must be removed from the lot by Noon on Monday, September 18th.

City Parking Regulations During OC Bike Week
It is crucial to adhere to Ocean City’s parking regulations during OC Bike Week to avoid violations. Key regulations to note include:
- Baltimore Avenue Restriction: Parking trailers or oversized vehicles on Baltimore Avenue is strictly prohibited.
- Trailer Permit Requirement: From May 1st through October 31st each year, parking a trailer or oversized vehicle without a trailer permit is a violation on any municipal parking lot, public street, alley, or public way within Ocean City’s corporate limits.
However, for OC Bike Week specifically, from Tuesday, September 11th through Sunday, September 15th, some exceptions are made:
- West Ocean City Park and Ride & 100th Street Parking Lot: Trailers are permitted at the West Ocean City Park and Ride and in the designated trailer section of the 100th Street parking lot on a first-come, first-served basis. Standard parking charges apply at the 100th Street lot, and trailers must park only in the designated trailer sections, not in regular parking areas.
Alternative Parking on Private Property
Remember that trailer parking is always permitted on private property. If you are staying at a hotel, house, or condo, it is advisable to check with your accommodation provider to inquire about trailer parking availability on their premises.
