This guide provides you with all the necessary information regarding trailer parking permits and designated parking areas during OC Bike Week 2024, from September 11th to 15th, 2024.

Official Trailer Parking Permit for OC Bike Week 2024

For OC Bike Week 2024, Ocean City is offering a Trailer Parking Permit priced at $50. This permit allows you to park your trailers and oversized vehicles on designated streets and parking lots (excluding Baltimore Avenue) from Wednesday, September 11th through Sunday, September 15th, 2024.

To enhance convenience for early arrivals, OC BikeFest has arranged a dedicated parking lot at 32nd Street and bayside. This lot will be operational from Sunday, September 8th, through Sunday, September 15th, offering various parking options to suit your arrival schedule.

32nd Street Trailer Parking Lot Details

The 32nd Street and bayside parking lot serves as the primary location for trailer parking and permit issuance for OC Bike Week 2024. Here are the key details:

  • Availability: Sunday, September 8th to Sunday, September 15th.
  • Operating Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM daily.
  • Location: 32nd Street and bayside, Ocean City (see map below).
  • Entrance: Access the lot from 32nd Street and bayside.
  • Permit Issuance: This is the ONLY location where the City Trailer Parking Permit for designated street parking will be issued.

Parking Fees at 32nd Street Lot:

  • Weekly Parking (Arriving Sunday, September 8th): $100 per vehicle (Cash or Check payable to OC JAMS).
  • Event Week Parking (Arriving Wednesday, September 11th – Sunday, September 15th): $50 per vehicle (Cash or Check payable to OC JAMS).
  • City Trailer Parking Permit (Designated Streets, Wednesday, September 11th – Sunday, September 15th): $50 per permit (Cash or Check payable to THE TOWN OF OCEAN CITY).

Important Reminders for 32nd Street Parking:

  • All trailers and vehicles must be removed from the lot by NOON on Monday, September 16th.

Additional Trailer Parking Options During OC Bike Week

Beyond the 32nd Street lot, Ocean City provides additional trailer parking options during OC Bike Week 2024 on a first-come, first-served basis for the event dates (Tuesday, September 11th through Sunday, September 15th, 2024):

  • West Ocean City Park and Ride: Trailers are permitted here.
  • 100th Street Parking Lot (Trailer Section): Designated trailer parking section available. Regular parking charges apply for the 100th Street lot designated area. Note: Trailers are not allowed in the regular, non-trailer sections of the 100th Street lot.

Key Parking Regulations to Note

To ensure a smooth OC Bike Week 2024 experience, be aware of these parking regulations:

  • Baltimore Avenue Restriction: Parking trailers or oversized vehicles on Baltimore Avenue is strictly prohibited.
  • Trailer Permit Requirement: Parking trailers or oversized vehicles without a trailer permit on any municipal parking lot, public street, alley, or public way within Ocean City Corporate Limits is a violation from May 1st through October 31st annually. However, exceptions are made for designated areas during OC Bike Week with appropriate permits or in designated areas like West Ocean City Park and Ride and 100th street trailer parking section during the event period.

Private Property Parking

Remember that trailer parking is also permissible on private property. It is advisable to check with your hotel, rental house, or condo to inquire about trailer parking availability on their premises.
