After years of patience, it’s time to share my utterly disappointing experience with the Quietkat Apex bike. From day one, this supposed top-tier product has been nothing but a headache. The initial excitement of owning a new Quietkat Bike quickly turned to frustration when the battery consistently died within a mere 10 to 30 minutes of use. For a premium electric bike, this was completely unacceptable.
Naturally, my first instinct was to seek support. I immediately contacted Quietkat through phone and email, hoping for a swift resolution. Over the years, I estimate I’ve made around 3-4 phone calls and sent 4-5 emails, diligently documenting each communication. I even received assurances that the issue would be “resolved,” yet these promises were consistently followed by silence. No return calls, no email replies – just a complete void of customer service. My attempts to escalate the matter were equally fruitless, met with utter indifference.
As someone familiar with machinery and equipment, I understand that defects can occur. I’m not one to complain without warrant, but in this case, the lack of support is simply inexcusable, especially for a product in this price range. When a high-end quietkat bike fails right out of the box, and the company essentially ignores you for years, it’s difficult to know when to give up. But now, I am done. Completely finished with contacting them.
The irony is stark: my own DIY bikes have proven far more reliable and cost-effective than this expensive Quietkat disappointment. I’ve seen positive reviews for other electric bike companies, but my experience with Quietkat is unparalleled in its negativity. Imagine buying a new truck only for the engine to fail the next day – you’d expect immediate action, wouldn’t you? Here I am, 3-4 years later, still waiting for any semblance of support. This quietkat bike has become nothing more than glorified garage decor. Perhaps harnessing a donkey to pull it would be a more productive use at this point.
To call their customer support “poor” would be an understatement of epic proportions. It’s non-existent. The warranty that comes with this expensive quietkat bike is utterly meaningless. While I can’t point to the best hunting bike with superior service, I can definitively say that Quietkat is at the bottom of that list.
This is my honest review of the Quietkat Apex Bike. If you encounter any issues with your quietkat bike, be warned – you might be on your own. Consider this a heads-up to anyone considering purchasing from Quietkat. Learn from my mistake and proceed with extreme caution.
