My journey in health and cycling is deeply personal, fueling my passion for coaching and helping others achieve their full potential. From a young age, observing my grandmother’s debilitating illness ignited a lifelong quest to understand health and wellness. Witnessing her daily struggle with pain, compounded by my own experience with an autoimmune disease, solidified my commitment to mastering the intricacies of human biology and the profound impact of lifestyle choices.
This drive led me to immerse myself in health, wellness, and medical knowledge, earning multiple accreditations and consistently pursuing further education through studies, books, and research. I recognized early on that nutrition and lifestyle are paramount to health, a realization deeply influenced by my grandmother’s experiences. My dedication to this understanding provides me with effective tools to guide individuals towards healthier lives and prevent unnecessary suffering.
Parallel to my health journey, my passion for cycling blossomed into a successful career as an elite cyclist. I achieved victory in professional races, with each training season building upon the last, driven by an intense dedication to sports science. For over 12 years, I rigorously studied and applied sports science principles, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical road training, even developing year-long training methodologies. This hands-on approach and deep understanding of athletic development forms the bedrock of my coaching philosophy, particularly when it comes to Training Bike programs.
Since transitioning to full-time coaching and training in 2011, I’ve had the privilege of working with athletes at the highest levels of cycling. My coaching experience spans across professional cyclists competing in the Olympics and World Championships (Road and TT), and prestigious races like Paris Roubaix. I am proud to have coached athletes to victory in multiple professional and national championships across Road, TT, MTB, and Junior and Masters categories. Furthermore, I have directed both U23 Pro/Am and Pro/Am Women’s cycling teams, gaining invaluable experience in team dynamics and athlete development.
