During our tests, the weight difference was noticeable, making the P Line more manageable to carry, though 22lbs / 10kg is still considerable for extended periods. It is a truly portable bike.
Like all Bromptons, the P Line showcases intelligent design and excellent construction. We especially appreciated the saddle-up rolling feature, a new addition to the P Line, allowing effortless wheeling through train stations and navigating crowded commuter areas.
The four-speed gearing system is equally well-engineered, featuring a unique two-piece derailleur designed to fit within the compact folded package. While we found the rear derailleur a bit tricky to adjust and desired a lower bottom gear, these are minor drawbacks.
Overall, the P Line is more practical, portable, and maneuverable than previous iterations, solidifying its position as one of the best collapsible bikes available.
