Electric bikes have surged in popularity, offering a fantastic blend of pedal power and electric assistance. For budget-conscious consumers, Walmart emerges as a tempting option with their range of electric bikes. But are “Electric Bikes Walmart” sells actually worth your money? After my own experience with a Walmart e-bike, I can offer some insights.
In January 2020, I purchased a Kent 700c step-thru electric bike from Walmart. Being someone who appreciates things done right, I immediately went to work inspecting and adjusting every part of the bike. This wasn’t just a quick glance; I’m talking about a full OCD-level check. I adjusted the brakes and derailleur for optimal performance, ensuring all nuts, screws, and bolts were tightened and torqued correctly, even using thread lock for added security. Spokes were tightened and wheels trued to eliminate any wobble. I even went as far as disassembling the front forks, headset, pedal bearings, and front wheel hub bearings. While these components were adequately greased from the factory, I cleaned and reapplied my preferred grease for peace of mind.
