  • Stay on Paved Paths: Bicycles are restricted to paved bicycle paths only and are not allowed on hiking trails to protect the natural environment and pedestrian safety.
  • Helmet Safety: Riders under 18 years old are legally required to wear helmets at all times. However, for your safety, we strongly recommend that all cyclists wear helmets throughout their ride. Helmets are provided free of charge with bike hire.
  • Traffic Laws and Courtesy: Always obey all traffic laws and signs within the park. When passing pedestrians, please alert them to your presence to ensure everyone’s safety and share the paths respectfully.
  • Restricted Areas: Please note that rental bikes are not permitted on Mirror Lake Hill and Lower Yosemite Falls Trail due to steep inclines and pedestrian traffic.
  • Group Riding Etiquette: If riding in a group, please ride single file on the right-hand side of the path to allow space for other cyclists and pedestrians.
