Exploring Portland on two wheels is an experience you shouldn’t miss. To ensure your ride is comfortable and tailored to your needs, we offer a variety of fitting options with our bike rentals. These adjustments, included in the rental price, cover saddle height and fore/aft positioning, handlebar tilt, tire inflation top-off, and brake reach adjustment. For more personalized adjustments, such as pedal or saddle installation, our team can assist for a small additional fee. If you anticipate needing these extra services, please contact us before finalizing your booking to arrange the details.
All our bike rentals come standard with flat pedals. However, for cyclists who prefer clip-less systems, we have rental clip-less pedals available, including Shimano SPD, SPD-SL, and Look Keo. You can easily add these to your rental during the booking process. Alternatively, feel free to bring your own pedals and/or saddle, and we’ll happily install them on your rental bike for a minor charge. Please note that we do not provide cycling shoes or cleats.
Reservations are strongly encouraged to guarantee bike availability, especially during peak seasons. Online bookings are conveniently available until 6 PM the day before your desired rental date. For last-minute rentals after this time, please call us during our business hours, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
To clarify our rental periods, rentals excluding 24-hour options operate on a day-based system. For example, a 3-day rental picked up any time on Tuesday is due back by 6 PM on Thursday. 24-hour rentals, on the other hand, are due back precisely 24 hours after your selected pick-up time, offering maximum flexibility for your schedule.
Please be aware that bikes not collected by 6 PM on the first rental day will be considered a “no-show” and will be returned to our general rental stock.
For overnight rentals, it’s essential to ensure the bike is stored safely indoors within a domicile. Acceptable storage locations include hotel rooms, concierge closets, or living rooms. Unfortunately, shared bike rooms are not considered secure locations for overnight storage.
Our reservations are subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy. Confirmed bookings and any booking modifications are final and charged in full unless changes are made outside of the 24-hour window prior to your rental. Kindly note that we do not offer pro-rated refunds for early returns on reservations, nor do we provide partial refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental period.
For cancellations concerning specially scheduled private departures & custom tours and for groups of 8 or more, we require a 14-day notice period for full refunds. Cancellations (and bookings) for groups made within 14 days of the departure date are non-refundable, cannot be altered, or exchanged.
